Plush cotton yarn is chosen and then hand crocheted. Vintage Persian fabrics are then woven around the rim along with hand embroidered KON stitch.
The stray strand is meant to create curiosity, conversation, and also the option to cut off or leave it. It lets you know that it's not just something done by a machine, but crafted by hand.
