A genuine leather jackets that belonged to my friend's grandpa from the World War era, and reviving it with hand painted artwork that is inspired from bomber jackets that they would wear.
Often times, men would have their wives or girlfriends painted nude to take to war, as a constant reminder of what they will go home to if they survive. Some would have it painted on the backs of their jackets and it became a collectible artwork in itself. This pays homage to those who risked their lives, and the hope that beauty brings to us.
